Work Hard...Play Hard

Last year's celebration of Canada Day (that is July 1^st) was momentous in that the Gmz translators and review committee members helped us slaughter a goat and introduced us to the most disgusting marinade I've ever purposely put in my mouth (see the blog posting in July 2013). This year's Canada Day found us (and the Gmz translators) in Addis Ababa for the consultant check on Acts 1-16 (Wow! We have come quite far in a year!). Well, July 1^st in 2014 fell on a Tuesday, which happens to be the day that a group of adults gather at the international school to play floor hockey. Hey, I thought, we can celebrate our great neighbors to the North by giving our best shot at playing the warmer version of their sport (note that "sport" was intentionally written in the singular). Translators, Thomas and Work'u, grabbed sticks and joined me in the gym. It was great fun and boy did we all sleep well that night… Oh Canada!
