Although everything has not really hit our brains yet, today is the day that we make the big move into the realization of a dream. It was 18 years ago for Travis and about 20 years ago for Andrea that we felt God began calling us into career missions and finally, at age 29, this day has come. The thought that keeps coming to mind is...what a privilege? We don't entirely know what to expect, though in a general sense, we expect plenty of stress, plenty of discouragements and frustrations, plenty of very low times...but at the same time an undying joy and unwavering feeling of privilege to be doing what God has designed us to do. It truly is a privilege!

  1. Hey you two! I had A LOT I wanted to say to you today, but couldn't get it out! I'll muster it up into an email. I'll miss you both more than you probably realize. We're excited for you! Be safe.

  3. Best of luck. We'll definitely miss you around. Peyton wants to ask you if you have seen any hyenas. Also, any interesting bugs?

  4. I keep thinking of you both and praying so much as you travel! What a bittersweet reality to have you so far away. Supposedly you arrived last night and I am so curious to hear how it went. I love you DEEPLY and ache with both missing you and joy at God's hand in your lives leading you to Africa. What glory! - Sus
